Independent random phone surveys (i.e. statistically accurate surveys) commissioned separately by all three Northern Beaches councils clearly shows that the people of the Northern Beaches say NO to a One Northern Beaches council model:
- Pittwater Council hired Micromax. The conclusion is that 89% of Pittwater residents say NO to a One Northern Beaches council. See the survey results in the Pittwater Council’s submission to IPART.
- Warringah Council hired Jetty. The conclusion is 63% of residents on the Northern Beaches (Warringah’s survey phoned people in Pittwater, Warringah and Manly) say NO to a One Northern Beaches council. Unfortunately the survey results cannot be found anywhere in Warringah Council’s submission as they are buried in favour of results from an expensive marketing and advertising campaign pushing “One Northern Beaches” (highly unethical and very UNFAIR to the people of the Northern Beaches). However below is the relevant chart from the Jetty Report.
- Manly Council hired Taverner Research. The conclusion is 76% of Manly residents say NO to a One Northern Beaches council. See the survey results in Manly Council’s submission to IPART.
